At the Qualifier event in Brienz the french pilot Florian Landreau won in the men's category and Gabriele Maria Fonck in the women's category. Only on Friday the conditions were good enough to make and finish a run with all pilots in beautiful Brienz. On Saturday the competition had to be cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions. A continuation on Sunday was unsuccessful despite great hope. So finally one run for a valid Qualifier Tour could be booked as success. Unfortunately this was not enough for a valid Swiss Championship in Brienz. The organizers had quite bad weather luck, so there could just as well have been a suitable good weather window - the forecasts were simply a lottery. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was very good and the flying level left nothing to be desired.

Enrolement for pilots is tomorrow 6-8 p.m. and right after is the general briefing at 8 p.m. The OC team of the ACBEO and the SHV are looking forward to many spectators on the Chloplatz. Food and drink will also be provided. On Friday evening from 5 p.m. and Saturday from 1.30 p.m. with live music. See you in Brienz.
