Flying since
Brevet since Dec 2017
Flying because
Flying is my passion. To me, it combines technique, intuition, and planning in a perfect package. I am committed on flying as much as possible, and advancing as quickly as I safely can.
As much as paragliding is about getting the right feeling and learning from experience, I am also very invested in learning as much as possible from theory. I study weather almost every day, most importantly by reading the MeteoSwiss blog and comparing it to my own observations.
Goals
In 2020 I was registered for a paragliding competition in Slovenia, but could not attend due to Corona. However, I was able to to fly >100km in Switzerland and spend lots of time improving my glider control & acro skills.
In 2021, I want to jump into the competition world and do lots more of XC flying. After I graduate I will be "funemployed" starting in spring, so I will have lots of time.
Successes
- Brevet since Dec 2017

- 30+ days of SIV/Acro at Lake Garda
- More fullstalls than flights
- Starting to get the hang of helicopters
- Obsession with groundhandling -- I groundhandle in every free minute when the wind allows
