Last weekend the 2026 Swiss Championship was held in Villeneuve during the Sonchaux Acro Show. After an epic battle between the 13 Swiss Pilots, Aniel Töngi was crowned 2026 Swiss Champion for his very first competition. Aniel had an unmatched start in the AWQ circuit, he performed some crazy manoeuvres we've never seen before in a Swiss Championship event, flew flawlessly and managed to land on the raft every flights. Indeed, the competition was his first ever appearance in an acro competition. World Tour pilots Lucas and Pablo flew well, securing a 2nd and 3rd place at the Swiss championship and 4th & 8th place during the Acro Show Battles. Unfortunately only one female pilot registered for the swiss title, therefore, no woman swiss champion was crowned in 2026. The only female pilot, Eline Geiger, flew at her best ever level and secured an amazing 6th place overall! The pilot from Wallis was fighting against experienced pilots and managed to show her real skills.
