Zum Saisonabschluss geht's nach Grindelwald. Benjamin und ich sind motiviert, euch einen unvergesslichen Task zu erstellen. Je nach Bedingungen soll es hoch hinaus gehen.

Grindelwald liegt windgeschützt, und die Thermik dürfte in diesem Kessel besser sein, als XC-Therm prognostiziert. Wir rechnen deshalb mit einem fliegbaren Task-Fenster und Weitblick über die Alpen.

Was wir von euch brauchen

Das Regio BeO hat für diesen Task etwas Spezielles vor – und dafür brauchen wir eure Unterstützung. Es tut nicht weh und kostet euch lediglich 15–30 Minuten zusätzliche Vorbereitung, zum Beispiel gemütlich in der Gondel hoch zur First.

Wir ersetzen für diesen Task die Flymaster-Tracker durch die neue SkytrackPro-Plattform und wollen deren Livetracking- und Safety-Features im echten Betrieb auf die Probe stellen. Jérôme stellt dafür seine Zeit zur Verfügung, übernimmt die Rolle des Safety Managers und begleitet uns vom Boden aus.

Season Finale Training 2026 – Invitation to all Regios

For the season finale we're heading to Grindelwald. Benjamin and I are motivated to set you a task you won't forget – and depending on conditions, it should take you high up.

Grindelwald is sheltered from the wind, and the thermals in this basin should work better than XC-Therm predicts. We're therefore expecting a flyable task window with far-reaching views across the Alps.

What we need from you

Regio BeO has something special planned for this task – and we need your support for it. It won't hurt; it just costs you 15–30 minutes of extra preparation, for example comfortably in the gondola on the way up to First.

For this task we're replacing the Flymaster trackers with the new SkytrackPro platform, and we want to put its live-tracking and safety features to the test under real conditions. Jérôme is volunteering his time, taking on the role of Safety Manager and supporting us from the ground.

What to bring / prepare

  • Smartphone or tablet with the SkytrackPro app installed and a working internet connection (setup guide in the side text on the right)
  • Create a free profile at https://skytrackpro.app/ and additionally register for this training on the same website
