Gestern hatte es um 8 Uhr in Lai Alv (Station oberhalb unserem Startplatz) und Lumpegna (Alp direkt ob Disentis) noch kaum Wind, heute bläst er stark (Lai Alv 30 kmh aus NW, Lumpegna 25 kmh aus W). Der Nordüberdruck nimmt bis Mittag auf 4 hp zu, und auch die weiteren Windprognosen sind schlecht.

Das ganze Tasksetterteam ist der Meinung, dass kein sicherer Task geflogen werden kann.

Die Aussichten für Donnerstag bis Samstag sind gut.

Ein Keil des Azorenhochs hat sich bis zum Alpenraum ausgedehnt. Mit einer maessigen nordwestlichen Hoehenstroemung gelangen zeitweise mittelhohe und hohe Wolkenfelder zur Schweiz.

Die hohe Bewölkung zieht nach Osten ab, wahrscheinlich gibt es dann 3/8 Cu mit Basis 2600 auf 3000? m steigend. Darüber zeitweise ausgedehnte mittelhohe und wenig hohe Wolkenfelder

Wieder Warmluftadvektion mit gutem Gradient am Nachmittag. Wegen Abschattung nur unregelmässig nutzbare, mässige Thermik.

Nordüberdruck nimmt auf 4, am Abend 5 hp zu

Yesterday at 8 am there was hardly any wind at Lai Alv (station above our take-off site) and Lumpegna (alp directly above Disentis), today it is blowing strongly (Lai Alv 30 kmh from NW, Lumpegna 25 kmh from W). The northerly overpressure increases to 4 hp by noon, and the further wind forecasts are also bad.

The whole task setting team is of the opinion that no safe task can be flown.

THE DAY IS CANCELED.

The outlook for Thursday to Saturday is good.

A ridge of high pressure from the Azores has extended into the Alpine region. With a moderate northwesterly high-altitude current, medium-high and high cloud fields will reach Switzerland at times.

High clouds moving east, probably later it will be 3/8 Cu with base 2600 to 3000? m rising. Above this, occasionally widespread medium-high and low cloud fields.

Again warm air advection with good gradient in the afternoon. Due to shading only irregularly usable, moderate thermals.
