After a massive front passing Switzerland on Thursday, there will be a slow buildup of a high-pressure situation, but with all the moisture on the ground and the high instability, the usable window may be quite short on both Saturday and Sunday. Remember 2025?
In detail, on Saturday, we expect rains in the early morning, stopping around 10:00. Some high-level clouds will be passing through before noon, reducing sunshine, and delaying the ground's drying. Some sun should reach the ground in the early afternoon, leading to thermals to cumulus to over-development and rain as early as 15:00.
On Sunday the morning will be dry, with plenty of sunshine, leading to thermals to cumulus to over-development and rain as early as 14:00.
