Hanggliding World Championship Northern Macedonia starts soon
The Delta World Championships are coming up! From 6-19 August 2023, the best hanggliders in the world will compete in Kruševo, Northern Macedonia. Fredy Bircher, Franz Herrmann, Jean-Daniel Kugler, Peter Neuenschwander, Ubaldo Romano and Damien Zahn will fight for the world championship title for Switzerland.
Team manager Toni Crottet has set himself a podium finish (individual and team) as a long-term goal for the World Championships. Whether this goal will be achieved at this year's Delta World Championships in Kruševo in northern Macedonia is uncertain. "It would have to go really well for that," says the Delta League boss.
