Leider war das Wetter Dienstag bis Donnerstag mieserabel, deshalb mussten die Tage abgesagt werden. Glücklicherweise wurde wenigstens am Freitag das Wetter gut. Zusammen mit Dominic Rohner machten wir am Donnerstag Abend via Zoom ein Briefing mit Meteorologie, Routenplanung usw. Am Freitag ging es dann nach Balderen am Zürichsee. Am Startplatz gab es nochmals ein kurzes Update, doch bereits um 10 Uhr sind die ersten gestartet und obwohl es wenig Wind hatte, ging es bereits gut thermisch. Ziel war an den Lufträumen vorbei in den Jura und dann weiter Richtung Westen. Das Flachland ging super und Wolken zeichneten den Weg in den Jura – immer mit etwas Rückenwind. Auch im Jura war die Thermik gut, auch wenn manchmal nicht genau da, wo man es vermutete. Leider wurde es (entgegen den Prognosen) ab dem Vue des Alps zunehmend stabil und Blau. Rico hat das am besten gemacht und hat Les Eplatures nördlich umflogen und konnte so am längsten von den guten Bedingungen profitieren und schaffte es über 200km.
