Swiss Cup Flims

No headquarter services provided. Pilots are responsible for waypoint installation on their instruments, and for mailing their back-up igc-file to the organizer in case of problems with their tracks.

Swiss Cups are organised by a local club in cooperation with the SHV and the Swiss League. Normally, the Swiss League is responsible for all technical matters (meteo, task, live tracking, scoring).
If a Swiss Cup is cancelled, it is possible that a Swiss Cup flex will be announced at another location with better flying conditions. This under the condition that the flight profit is probably good.

Waypoint files
will be provided and must be uploaded to the GPS by the pilot.

Tracker
Each pilot receives a tracker, which he must operate himself and install appropriately.

The evaluation of flights will be done using GPS tracks from the Livetrackers. Each pilot is responsible for his backup and must be able to send a valid igc to the organiser.

Airspace: Zero tolerance using GPS altitude.

• Transport to take-off 
• Extensive meteo-briefings
• Very informative task-briefings
• Debriefings (if possible at next briefing)
• Task safety system (In-App for level-messages and infos)
• Turnpoints files
• Live-tracking (Live-trackers will be provided)
• If available: Water on take-off
• If available: Toilets on take-off
• Normally Kiosk at Landing (Drinks, crisps, coffee, cake and much more. Everything at a standard price of CHF 2 ( cash box or Twint))

On an occasional basis, we will offer coffee or aperitifs at a debriefing.

Accomodation

There are several accommodation possibilities.

• Camping Trin (no reservation - We recommend to everyone who is coming with a campervan to use this camping). 
• • 16CHF per night for a van, 10CHF per night for a tent, electricity 5CHF per night
  • 14CHF per night per person 
  • Bus connection by public transport to Flims
  • Caution, with valley wind creating a strong lee situation, landing nearby can be very dangerous
