Mit jedem neuen Prognoselauf wurden die Schauer früher angesagt. Wir hatten schon eine Extrafahrt um 8:45 um sehr früh bereit zu sein, aber auf Caischavedra machte sich Skepsis breit: Die Wolken türmten sich schon um 9 mehrere 1000 m hoch. Der Task wurde noch vor dem Briefing abgesagt. Rund die Hälfte der anwesenden Pilot:innen fuhr (wieder viel früher als bestellt) an den Startplatz, wo wir beste Bedingungen vorfanden. Die Wolken lösten sich auf (wie so oft entstanden wegen der Feuchtigkeit am Morgen riesige "Wassersäcke", die nach Abtrocknung wieder zusammen fallen). Viele flogen nach Ilanz und an andern Orten. Das Taskteam ist am Analysieren, wie es zur Absage kam. Stark mitgespielt haben die bedrohlich aussehenden Wassersäcke, die wirklich sehr schlechte "Radar"-Prognose und aber vor allem auch der Gruppendruck. Um 16 Uhr erklärt Jörg die Formeln, und vor allem auch die Unterschiede der Formeln. Um 18 Uhr gibts Spaghetti-Dinner. Morgen wird es einen sehr guten Tag geben!

Beinahe ausgeglichener Druck An den Hängen schon am Morgen rasche Bildung von Quellwolken und allgemein Zuname der mittelhohen Bewölkung. Der Gradient ist gut, um 8 Uhr etwa 0.7 bis 3500, darüber noch «besser». Basis wird schon am Mittag über 3000 sein. Wind um 11 Uhr: Noch kein Talwind 2000m: der Lukmanier «drückt» (Disentis 15 kmh), sonst 5 SW 3000m: 5-10 SW 4000m: 10 W Wind um 14 Uhr: Der Wind wird von den Luftmassen definiert, die durch die grossen Congestus bewegt werden. Dies vom Boden bis weit hoch. SONNTAG In der Nacht auf Sonntag trocknet die Luftmasse ab und wir erwarten einen sehr guten Streckenflugtag mit wenig Wind. Task um 100km ist realistisch.

Wie schon informiert, kann der Swiss Cup wegen verlängerten Revisionsarbeiten nicht in der Lenzerheide durchgeführt werden. Die Organisatoren haben viele Möglichkeiten gecheckt, aber keine macht Sinn (geschlossene Luftseilbahnen, zu viel Talwind im Prättigau). Die neue Location ist Disentis. Herzlichen Dank schon im Voraus, dass die Bergbahnen den Sessellift für uns in Betrieb nehmen. METEO Samstag Der offizielle Wetterbericht ist gut: "Sonnig. In den Alpen am Nachmittag vermehrt Quellwolken und vereinzelte Hitzegewitter möglich. Höchsttemperatur um 30 Grad." (MeteoSchweiz) Leider aber überquert uns ein kleiner Höhentrog, der sehr stark labilisiert. Um 11 Uhr dürfte die Basis schon auf 2800m sein, um 12 Uhr würde es nach den aktuellen Prognosen schon Schauer geben. Und zwar grosse, ortsfeste Gewitter, die auch das Windsystem in der Region beeinträchtigen (vergleiche Wind- und Regenprognose!) Hoffen wir, dass sich die Zugbahn dieses Höhentroges etwas nach Osten schiebt. Sonntag Sonnig. Über den Bergen am Nachmittag ein paar harmlose Quellwolken. Höchsttemperatur um 32 Grad. Zunehmend schwül. (MeteoSchweiz) Ja, der Sonntag ist super, das Höhentief wieder abgezogen. Wenn sich die Zugbahn des Höhentiefs nicht verändert, halte ich den Samstag nicht für taskbar. Dann müssen wir uns die Frage stellen: 1 sehr guter Task Swiss Cup in Disentis oder zwei Task im Jura. Der Veranstalter hat grosses Gewicht bei einer solchen Entscheidung. Nächste Info Donnerstag, 20 Uhr. ****************************** Comme déjà dit, la Swiss Cup ne pourra pas avoir lieu à Lenzerheide à cause de travaux de révision qui ont pris plus de temps que prévu. Les organisateurs ont regardé plein d'options, mais aucune n'est vraiment viable (téléphériques fermés, trop de vent dans la vallée du Prättigau). La nouvelle location est Disentis. Un grand merci d'avance aux remontées mécaniques qui mettront le télésiège à notre disposition. METEO Samedi Les prévisions météo sont bonnes : « Ensoleillé. Dans les Alpes, cumulus plus nombreux l'après-midi et quelques orages isolés possibles. Températures maximales autour de 30 degrés. » (MétéoSuisse) Malheureusement, un petit creux en altitude nous traverse, ce qui rend le temps très instable. À 11 heures, la base devrait déjà être à 2800 m et, selon les prévisions actuelles, des averses devraient déjà tomber à midi. Il s'agirait de gros orages stationnaires qui perturberaient également le régime des vents dans la région (voir les prévisions de vent et de pluie !) Espérons que cette dépression en altitude se déplace un peu vers l'est. Dimanche Ensoleillé. Quelques cumulus inoffensifs au-dessus des montagnes l'après-midi. Si la trajectoire de la dépression en altitude ne change pas, je ne pense pas que un task sera faisable samedi. On devra alors se poser la question suivante : une très bonne task Swiss Cup à Disentis ou deux tasks dans le Jura ? L'organisateur a un grand poids dans une telle décision.
