Für heute war die Wetterprognose ziemlich gut. Dementsprechend motiviert waren wir dann auch auf dem Flugfeld von Caico. Der Wind war deutlich stärker, der Weltrekord (straight distance to a declared goal) bei 566km angemeldet und um 6:30 hatte es die ersten Cumuluswolken. Bereits nach 15 Minuten waren alle Schweizer in der Luft und Dominic, Yael und ich erwischen gleich eine Thermik nach dem Start. Das war dann aber auch schon die letzte Thermik für uns – 15km später standen wir vor 7 Uhr bereits wieder am Boden. Von 15 Piloten sind nur Dino und ein Slowene durchgekommen.
