Der Tag war wieder mal einiges stabiler als man aus dem Regtherm lesen konnte. Ich nehme an, der Südwind hat eine durchwirbelte, stabile Luft an den Jura geführt. In den unteren Schichten war eher Südost, oben eher Südwestwind was bei unserem Task bewusst ausgenutzt werden konnte. der Task: Stierenberg, Montoz, Raimeux, Passwang, Stierenberg konnte leider niemand beenden. Mir fehlte ca. 1 km, Morgenthaler flog nach Hause (Oftringen). Etliche schafften es jedoch bis kurz vor den Passwang... eine beachtliche Leistung für einen Tag wie heute! Gratulation. Wir haben heute unser Swissleague-Open Trauma ( Montoz direkt an Raimeux ) überwunden und sind direkt an die hintere Kette geflogen. Die Schlüsselstelle war vom Raimeux wieder nach vorne zu kommen gegen den Wind.

Bonsoir, La décision définitive est difficile à prendre maintenant, je mettrai de nouvelles informations demain soir suivant les nouveaux modèles. C'est à peu près sûr que ce soit bon dimanche mais il faut encore voir où. Apparemment dimanche serait mieux que samedi car il y moins de cirrus (mais c'est encore difficile à prévoir précisément). Aussi il n'y aura plus de vent du sud/sud ouest (faiblissant samedi soir, encore 3 hPa) mais de la bise. Reste à voir sa force, qui sera plus précisément prévisible demain soir. Bonne soirée!

Das Wetter sieht gut aus für den Jura morgen, leichte Bise die gegen Nachmittag auf Südost dreht. Wir werden am Stierenberg starten und treffen uns morgen im Riedholz um 10.15 um mit dem Poschi hochzufahren. Macht euch auf einen längeren Task gefasst.....

Bei Südtendenz werden wir am Jura gute Bedingungen antreffen für einen Task morgen. Sonntag wird im Berner Oberland mit Chrigel das Regiofliegen weitergehen... Details kommen heute Abend.

Salut, Ce dimanche il semble qu'un vol du cadre aura lieu aux Rochers de Naye. Les modèles météo sont encore capricieux comme vous le verrez ci-dessous mais à priori c'est relativement bon les 2 jours avec un plus pour dimanche vu qu'il n'y a plus de foehn et apparemment moins de cirrus. Si cela se confirme nous prendrons le train de 8h47 à Montreux pour les Rochers de Naye. Je confirmerai cela ici demain soir (à noter qu'il est encore possible que nous volions plutôt samedi suivant comment les prévisions évoluent). Notes météo: **************** Il semblerait qu'on ait encore un peu de foehn samedi (4 à 6 millibars, cf. schéma). Aussi il y a des lignes de nuages élevés qui pourraient passer entre samedi et dimanche. C'est assez difficile de prévoir précisément quand il y en a le moins (en plus les modèles changent tout le temps) mais apparemment ce serait un peu meilleur pour dimanche. We had again great condition for the second day of this SwissCup. We decided one more time to set a task offering multiple options between the flatlands and the Salève. At this game, Christoph Trutmann was the best and won not the only the second task but also the overall ranking. Tim Bollinger finished second of task 2 by flying the end of the task in the flatlands meanwhile Christoph took the option of flying back to the mountain. Anders Baerheim finished thrid of this second day and we have 12 pilots at the goal. Below the different overall ranking. Although we saw a lot of thunderstorms above the Alps and the Jura, we had great conditions in Salève. We launched a task of 55km with the first leg along the Salève and we had thereafter 2 waypoints in the flatlands. Thank to the Geneva airport, we were able to fly in some areas of the Geneva countryside which are usually forbidden. To open the game, we put a bigger radius (3km) around a waypoint in the flatland. So, different options were choosen to reach it: either by the Salève or by the most direct line which was flatlands but with weaker thermals. 8 pilots managed to successfully finish this selective task. Congratulations to them!!!!! The weather report is "humid", but we believe, that 2 task are possible. Therefor the Swiss Cup takes place and count for the Swiss League Cup. You will get more infos from Reynald. The weather forecast is still quite positive, so we believe we can organize 2 tasks this week-end. The final decision will be taken tomorrow morning. We will confirm at the same time if this Swiss Cup will count for the Swiss League. Wir haben mässige Bise. Mässig ist für uns saumässig - 15kn NE auf verschiedenen Höhen ... deswegen entschliessen wir uns für den Startplatz Schwängimatt, der nach NE ausgerichtet ist. ... und planen einen Task im Flachland, obwohl der One-Way nach Yverdon viel verlockender gewesen wäre. Task: Schwängimatt bei Balsthal - Huttwil (ganzer Schenkel quer zum Wind) - Halten bei Gerlafingen - Goal südlich von Burgdorf. Man muss noch wissen, dass der Tag wegen zu starkem Bodenwind keineswegs gut war fürs Flache. Der Start auf der Schwängimatt war wegen dem starken Wind etwas schwierig, vor allem für diejenigen, die sich für den unteren Startplatz entschieden. Einige von ihnen mussten vor den Bäumen abdrehen, andere hatten andere Probleme. Oben gings eigentlich einfach. Nach dem Start war das Fliegen angenehm, Luvseitig gings ruhig in die Höhe, schade dass wegen der TMA auf 1700m Schluss war. Leider hatte der eine oder andere Pilot diese Höhe überschritten und muss empfindliche Penaltys einstecken (10 Pkt/Meter, was schnell mal ein "Nuller" ist). In den Hügeln Richtung Goal gings leider nicht so gut wie erwartet und der Wind war auch sehr stark zum Landen. Der Task ist nur für den Anlass (SLO) gültig, da er nur 400 Pkt für den Sieger gibt. Diese Punkte werden in der Gesamtrangliste des Swiss League Cup nicht verwendet, bis ein weiterer Task die nötigen 700 Pkt nicht erreicht. Er wird dann mit diesem Zusammengezählt und auf 1000 Pkt umgerechnet. Weather is good, but pretty windy. I hope we find a good take off. Probably we fly mostly one-way. Meeting 10:00 at Fortbildungszentrum.

Here you find all Rankings and all Fotos. Task 3: Valentin did cross the air start after the closing time at 15:00. I think, that his track is valid, but his time runs from 15:00. Jo thinks, that he gets only minimum time. I did ask the PWCA, to make sure what is right. Both rankings are here. This question is not only important for Valentin: If the task is above 700pts, it counts full for the swiss league cup.

Am Morgen hat wohl beinahe niemand an einen Durchgang geglaubt. Nebelbänke und auch oben nix als Wolken, ab und zu etwas Nieselregen. Die Wetterberichte stimmen mich aber (sehr knapp) optimistisch und so fahren wir um 11:30 an den Weissenstein und wandern auf die "Röti". Der Wind steht stramm von Nord (perfekt), aber es bleibt bewölkt. Fieserweise scheint südwestlich von uns im Flachen die Sonne (dort ist aber die CTR Grenchen), nord- und östlich von uns ist es aber permanent schwarz. Wir warten und töggelen mal zwei Bojen fürs Flache ins GPS. Man weiss ja nie. Meteoschweiz sagt uns aber, dass es keinen Regen mehr geben soll... Um halb zwei beginnt es aber nochmals zu tröpfeln... Und ich entschliesse mich, jetzt zu starten, da die Wetterberichte ja später auch wieder Congestus und Shower ansagen. Der Task ist kurz: TP 1 an der Hauptkette bei "Bötzingerberg", zurück zur Röti und Landung in Oberdorf. Elapsed Time Race ohne Leading Bonus (weil nur einer nach dem andern starten kann). Die ersten schmeissen sich im Stil "geht ja eh nicht" raus. Dominik Frei schaffts dann aber Höhe zu machen, fliegt aber leider weiter, obwohl er sieht, dass es Sonne gibt. Drei Piloten saufen ab, dann aber gehts aber richtig los, die Sonne heizt, der Task ist einfach und die Gewinner drehen kaum einmal auf. Schön, dass die Jüngsten den Sieg unter sich ausmachen: Adrian Hachen, Michi Maurer und dann Michi Sigel. Bei den Frauen Regula Strasser vor Daniela Hofer.
